REVIVING THE HISTORIC:
THE UNCONVENTIONAL TALE OF THE SHEEP AND PENGUIN
The Mermaid Inn in Wells, Somerset has evolved into The Sheep and Penguin. Elevating dining, drinks, and lodging in the UK's smallest city, this refined establishment bears the signature of The Queens in Chew Magna's creators.
Nestled beside a former Falkland Islands memorabilia store, the name The Sheep and Penguin is a nod to the island's permanent residents that are often seen cohabiting and grazing. Hey! What? embraced the task of harmonising branding with their boutique interiors. The ampersand emerged as a symbol of unity, complemented by a palette inspired by the venue's interior aesthetics.
Charming sheep and penguin characters enliven materials, adding personality. Beyond branding, we crafted a sophisticated website and captured the interior's allure through a photoshoot.
